The maintenance methods of led display are mainly divided into front maintenance and back-maintenance.

Back-maintenance used to for LED screens of building exterior walls,  it must be designed with a aisle back side so that person can perform maintenance and repair from the back of the screen body.

Ensure the water proof well enough in outdoor environment,rear maintain led display also need a aluminum profile surrounding package to make sure no water sank into the led display,which level should up to IP65.

The overall technical requirements are high, installation and removal are cumbersome,and time-consuming.

Also,for outdoor led display,YWTLED have developed two ways for outdoor led display front maintain.

One solution for front maintain is modular screw rotation in pixel p3.91,p4.81,p5.33,p6.67,p8,p10,p16,which outdoor proof level already match IP65.

The second front maintain is outdoor led display cabinet front open solution.

With front-maintenance, led screen can be designed very thin and light,integrated with the surrounding environment, achieve matched appearance.

For some indoor place especially with compact spaces, or wall-mounted installations, obviously, it’s not a good choice of rear maintenance.

Along with Narrow Pixel Pitch LED Display technology developed, front-maintenance indoor LED display gradually dominated the market.

It’s configured with magnet to fix the module on the cabinet or steel structure. Open the whole cabinet or modules from the front side, When dismantle, Sucker directly touch module surface for front maintenance, 

Compared with back-maintenance, the advantage of front-maintenance LED screen is mainly to save space and support structure, maximize space utilization and reduce the difficulty of after sale work.

The front maintenance method does not need aisle, supports independent front maintenance, and saves space on screen back.

No need to disassemble cable, supports rapid maintenance work,comparing with the back maintenance, which need to remove many screws first to dismantle the module front-maintenance is simpler and more convenient. However, due to the room limited space, structure has high requirements on the heat dissipation of the cabinet, otherwise the screen is easier prone to failures.

On the other side, back-maintenance has its own advantage.

Lower price, good heat dissipation,which is more suitable for rooftop, column and other occasion, and has high inspection and maintenance efficiency.

Due to different application, you can choose these two maintenance methods according with your needs.
